Day 10. Neuenweg, Germany to Salzburg, Austria. 602kms

Location: Salzburg, Austria
A beautiful sunny day again.
I rode about 50 kms by lunch time and another 550 kms by the time I checked into the New Star Hotel in Salzburg, Austria.

The lady at the German Service Station advise me that Austria is one of the few countries that requires a Vingnette (Toll Road Fee).  Not expensive, and you can get them at any service station on the toll road.

This was my longest day riding, from 8:45 am to 9 pm.   The last hotel had no internet.   The internet in this hotel is very fast, so I thought it would be a good time to upload some photos.  Enjoy.

I hope to be in Dolni Brezany tonight. About 300 kms if I don't get side-tracked to often.   The ride will be through the mountains.   Peter, from the bike shop, suggested I travel a favourite road he found.   I will see if I can find it.  TTFN.

(PS: unfortunately the photos are not in order.  An Upload problem ???.  Will fix later)
