Left Mosjoens early with no breakfast. The travel was great again, and sunny all day. Had breakfast while waiting for the ferry.
I now carry some biscuits with me, in case I stay at a campground with no food.
Three ferry rides today. They take up a lot of time, so I got to Bodo later than expected. The last ferry ride took 10 mins, after a 1 hour wait. It is nice to have the wait time to slow things down and talk to people about their travels.
The scenery was again spectacular, and even saw two glaciers. I expect that I may see more as I go higher North.
I thought the area up this far north would be fairly sparse with people and towns, but not so. There are towns everywhere and industry too. As you will see on the photo, they even have a HOGgies Arctic Chapter (Harley Owners Group)
The roads are all very good, so people can get here with no problems, all year round. The way the Norwegians build tunnels is to be commended. What mountain, river, or sea? Just put in a tunnel. They vary in length from littles to biggies, 250 m to 27 km. Most are to about 3 kms.
I arrived at the Bodo Ferry Terminal at 10 pm, and the night was a bright as an Adelaide day at 3 pm.
PS: I just found out from Google. The Arctic Circle is 66 degrees, 33 minutes, and 44 seconds. Not as I put on the photo.
