At about 6 am, I first rode south to visit a little town with the shortest name in the world, “Å”, that’s all. It even has it’s own small tunnel. There were many motorhomes at the rest stop, too.
I can’t believe how many motorhomes and caravans are here on this archipelago. Motorbikes too. But, as I rode around, it’s not hard to see why people come here. It’s just very scenic, and lots of places to freecamp and also paid campgrounds. And, both are busy.
By about 10 am, I was ready for some sleep and a coffee. That’s when I found the Brustranda Campground. I got my own cabin (with water, but no shower) for 400Kr. The photos say it all.
The lady at the campground reception said that she was from up “north”. I thought that this was north, but apparently there are lots more people “up north”.
I got some sleep, and then did the blog. Enjoy.
